Great! We’ll fill you in.

Meditation has been shown to affect the gray matter in the brain. Gray matter is a key component of the brain in processing information, controlling movement, and regulating emotions.

Studies using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) have shown that meditation can increase the volume of gray matter in specific regions of the brain, including the hippocampus (involved in memory and learning), the prefrontal cortex (involved in executive function and decision-making), and the insula (involved in self-awareness and empathy).

Research also shows that regular meditation can reduce the concentration of gray matter in the amygdala, a region associated with fear, anxiety, and stress — and that this reduction correlates with lower stress levels.

Other studies have found that meditation can lead to changes in the thickness of the cortex, which is made up of gray matter, in regions related to attention, sensory processing, and emotional regulation.

Scientific evidence suggests that meditation positively affects the gray matter in the brain, leading to improvements in cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being.

I’m Jenna, your guide!

It was important to me to develop a course that allowed anyone who desired to learn about meditation to have that ability regardless of how busy they were, where they were located, their budget, and their learning style.

I empathize with the struggle to carve out personal time in today's frenzied world, and I've experienced firsthand the overwhelming sensation of constant stimulation and dysregulation. These challenges were the touchstones that guided every aspect of this course's development.

My paramount aim was your success. That's why each module is meticulously crafted to be succinct, purposeful, and conveniently self-contained within the app. Drawing on my specialization in trauma sensitivity, every nuance in this course is geared towards creating an environment that fosters your growth. In essence, this course isn't just an offering—it's a tailored journey, a transformative experience awaiting you within the palm of your hands.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The monthly subscription library is just that, a monthly subscription. You can no longer access those meditations if you decide not to continue your subscription. The course purchase allows you to access the meditations and course information forever, so you can practice as much as you like. Additionally, the course contains nine meditations that are course exclusives, so you can only access these meditations with the purchase of the course.

  • This is your practice, so if you don’t want to complete the worksheets, you don’t have to! However, I encourage you to complete them, as they allow you to develop your practice further. If you finish all the worksheets, you will have a resource to refer to that will help you to know when to use and what to use specific meditation types for, which can prove valuable depending on the situation and helpful if you shift into a state of dysregulation.

  • Great news! The app is also available on your desktop! Use your computer or print out the worksheets to complete them and easily listen to your recorded audio meditation via your phone. It’s the best of both worlds! Click Here to log into the app from your web browser.

  • The beauty of this course is that you can take as long or as little time as you would like. The suggested use is one meditation type per week, which would take six weeks to complete the course. Research shows benefits to the gray matter in your brain are identifiable after eight weeks or 56 consecutive days of practice. If the course is used in the way it was designed, you’ll be well on your way to that 56-day mark, and you can then continue with the meditations you prefer, or you can spend more than a week on each type of meditation.

This course is yours to keep forever, so use it as much as you want; you may find completing the course more than once beneficial.

And… the most crucial part of developing a meditation practice is showing up, so if a particular type of meditation is not for you, try it at least once and move on. It’s better to do another meditation than force yourself or not do one at all. But, if you are really averse to a particular type of meditation, that may be because that’s what you need most.

  • I completely understand crazy schedules, and for that reason, I planned accordingly. If a particular type of meditation is on the longer side, I have also provided a more condensed version of that type of meditation for this exact reason.

Remember, the most important thing is showing up, so if you don’t have 30 minutes today, a shorter version will allow you to practice even with your time constraints. To that point, I have also included some meditations that traditionally don’t have background music. However, some individuals may like or need the background music. Thus, I have provided additional audio to accommodate this for specific types that may prove more difficult for beginners.

  • I have a one-time one-on-one meeting option that allows us to meet for an hour, where I answer any questions you may have and can help you establish a routine for completing the course/meditation practice specific to your life and needs.

This is an easy option for those who need face-to-face feedback but cannot work consistently with me in a one-on-one or group setting.

Get in touch if this sounds like it would be helpful for you.

  • Me too! For this reason, I have a weekly accountability option. This option makes me your accountability partner. You message me every day when you have completed your meditation, and if I don’t hear from you, you should expect to hear from me! This also allows you the opportunity to get questions answered in real-time, so if something comes up for you during your practice, ask away and receive real-time feedback and support.

An accountability partner's additional financial commitment and support has proven successful for participants.

I want to provide real value for my accountability partners, so I personally answer all questions, and I’m only one person! For this reason, I only take 5 participants per week, and not all weeks are available for accountability.

If you have a specific week you want accountability for, please contact us for availability before purchasing this option.
